Most problems have a quick fix. Here are the common ones.

A site looks wrong

Click the Shadeflip button or press Alt+Shift+D to switch that site back. Shadeflip remembers, so it stays fixed. If you've set every site to dark, this is also how you exempt one.

The shortcut doesn't work

Another extension may be using Alt+Shift+D; Dark Reader uses it too. Change the shortcut in Chrome at chrome://extensions/shortcuts, or in Firefox from the Add-ons page: click the gear icon, then Manage Extension Shortcuts.

Nothing happens on some pages

Browsers don't let any extension change their own pages, such as settings, the new tab page or the extension stores. Tabs that were already open when you installed Shadeflip need a reload before they pick up your saved choices.

Where are the settings?

Right-click the Shadeflip button in your toolbar and choose Shadeflip settings. There you can set a default for all sites and edit the list of sites you've set.

Why do photos look normal on a dark page?

Shadeflip darkens a page by inverting its colors, then turns photos and video back so they keep their real colors.

Does one setting cover a whole domain?

No. Each address is set on its own, so mail.example.com and example.com can be different.
